Gabe loves playing violin and composing. And he is ridiculously grateful for his family, friends, and mentors. He would be honored to play for you, whether it’s at a concert, wedding, party, tiny venue, giant festival, messy house, intimate marriage proposal, saucy day at the beach, sweaty bike race, fragrant cooking class, anxious swim meet, rock & root-laden hiking trail, or just some bar.

More info about Gabe:
Gabe Miller believes in love and spiritual stimulation and uses his violin, bow, ears, voice, compositions, and musical interactions to celebrate sound with all bodies and souls.
Since he was 5, Gabe has been engaging intensely with the violin, studying classical violin within the Suzuki Method with Loren Abramson. In college he focused on the history of Jazz, studying with violin-guru Zach Brock. Since graduating from Temple University’s Jazz Program in 2018, Gabe has been living, teaching, composing, and performing in Philadelphia with several projects, notably dot.gov and the Bismuth Quartet.
Gabe was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri, where he was lucky enough to be a part of Jazz St. Louis’ unparalleled jazz education program, JazzU. For three wonderful years, Gabe fed his hunger for jazz at concerts, played in combos, and worked with local and nationally renowned musicians like Jon Faddis, Sean Jones, Rodney Whitaker, The Bad Plus, Matt Wilson, Anat Cohen, and Tim Warfield, to name a few. At the end of his senior year, Gabe and his combo performed two nights at Jazz at the Bistro with the great trumpeter, Terell Stafford. Gabe is so grateful for all the wonderful friends and musicians in Saint Louis that make the scene so deep! Additionally, Saint Louis has a lot to teach Philadelphia about how to have a thriving late-night donut scene!!!!
Gabe is passionately thankful for his parents, siblings, nephews, friends, and teachers. He carries all of their love in his heart, music, and smiles.
Gabe performs everything from straight ahead swing music to modern jazz to free music to neo-soul, funk, rock and everything in between. Gabe has recently been getting more into composing, and he is always trying to get better at singing.
